Providing support, guidance, and compassionate care during a difficult time.
“What we once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we LOVE deeply becomes a part of us.” – Helen Keller
Care for a very ill or geriatric pet can be complicated when you are faced with the most difficult decision you may ever make. Many pet owners feel confused and unsure of the right path to take. Our caring team is here to help you during this difficult process in a kind and respectful manner. If you feel you may need some guidance deciding when, how and why to either euthanize or continue medical management for your pet, we are here for you. We offer compassionate end of life care, including quality of life assessments and euthanasia services.
Originally a Greek word, euthanasia means “an easy or happy death,” as “eu-” means good and “thanatos” means death. During euthanasia, the patient is typically given a sedative to make them more comfortable. Once you and your pet are ready, the euthanasia drug is then delivered by intravenous injection. This is painless, quick, and dignified.
